Reflection #2

1. What is the most important media device for today’s generation?
   -For me, the most important media device for today's generation would be our mobile phones.
2. What are the good and bad effects of your chosen media device?
   Good Effects
   -Our mobile phones enable long distance communication through the use of the internet
   -We can use them to communicate with a concerned person during an emergency/urgent situation
   -Most phones have many useful time-management and organizer programs(e.g. Calendar, Alarms, Timers, Notes)
   -Our phones can also be used for our entertainment through games and/or music
   -Adding to all these, phones are extremely convenient as we can use them almost anywhere and anytime
   Bad Effects
   -Sometimes, I and many others get too immersed with our phones to the point of counterproductivity
   -Not only that, but excessive usage of mobile phones also contribute to the worsening of our vision
   -Also, phones can sometimes be used with malicious intent(e.g. sending a message to an unknown person while claiming to be a close relative/friend, with the intention of scamming them)

1. Who created the message?
   The message was created by TrueMove H, a Thai company. TrueMove H is Thailand's number 1 mobile provider for 4G, 3G, & WiFi.
2. What attracted you to the message?
   I was intrigued by the sad setting and the boy, for whom I felt pity.
3. How do you react to the message?
   I found the video heartwarming, especially during the later part. How the doctor didn't ask for payment for the treatment was the best part for me.
4. What lifestyles are being presented in the message?
   The man tending the shop was unselfish, giving some of his goods to people that badly need them.
5. What values are being promoted in the message?
   Generosity and kindness are the values promoted in the message.
